About Me

Hi! I am Griselda Flores and currently an MSJ candidate at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Before joining Medill, where I report on social justice issues, I spent five years in Los Angeles as an entertainment reporter and writer for publications such as Variety and Billboard. As a bilingual reporter in L.A., I focused on the Latino community in the entertainment industry.

As a freelance writer, I've written for CityLab and Nexos, a Spanish-language travel magazine.

I love coffee (check out my coffee Insta page: Espressandome), getting lost in a good book and traveling. I'm a soccer fan, a feminist and proud daughter of Mexican immigrants.
